Site 42 to Site 50

Day 7 starts at Site 42 at Rum Lake, to the hidden entrance to Unna Lake, to the hidden entrance to Cariboo River against the current, northwest up Babcock Creek, to a portage to Babcock Lake, to a short portage to Skoi Lake with a marshy entrance, to short portage to Spectacle Lakes all the way to Site 50

They eventually arrived after everyone else.

At Pat's Point, we discussed the pros and cons of continuing past Site 50 and finishing our trip today.
Winds were predicted to pick up between 2-5pm and it was almost 11am. With 11 miles left, possible high winds and fatigued paddlers, it didn't seem reasonable to push beyond Site 50.
