Camping

Camping is a big part of Scouts BSA.  Some camping trips are associated with hikes, canoeing, snowshoeing, bikes or horseback riding, but Troop 60 also does occasional Site Camping (aka Car Camping).  Site Camping allows us to bring troop gear right to our camping spot so that we can conduct basic troop training away from home.

General Information

Camping introduces Scouts to the Outdoor Program.  It is a great place to conduct training, launch other adventures and basically just have some fun.  Luckily, we have easy access to hundreds of camping sites at State Parks, National Forest Lands and Parks, Private Campsites and several Scout Camps.
