Shooting Sports Events 2023

Chief of Seattle has opened registration for its Shooting and Cope events for 2023. Those interested should sign up soon as these fill quickly. Events and training are generally held at Camp Pigott, near Monroe.
Shooting Sports Day is basically an entire day of just shooting, shooting, shooting. Scouts and adults will be able to shoot rifles, shotguns, muzzeloaders, bows & arrows, and other shooting related devices for target practice, to work on merit badges, to earn marksmanship awards and just to have fun!
Parents volunteering for Shootings Sports Days can bring a helper (that's your Scout) free of charge. If you are interested in becoming a Shooting Sports Instructor, please contact our Shooting Sports Team as there are several opportunities available.
NRA Basic courses are also available for anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of safe fire arms handling, earning a rifle or shotgun merit badge or who are interested in becoming instructors. Scouts and Scouters get a special reduced price! ($80 for the general public and $40 for BSA).
COPE courses are also available for anyone interested in leading climbing events for our troop or council.
