Turn left onto WA-207 (20.0 miles east of Stevens Pass Ski Area) for 17 miles. Stay on Forest Service Road 6701 for 4.7 miles and turn left onto Forest Service Road 400 for 2.1 miles.

1.5 hours from Bellevue. North I-405 for 8.8 miles. Take exit 23 onto WA-522 east for 14.3 miles. Turn right (east) on US-2 for 44.5 miles. Turn right into Scenic, WA across the railroad tracks and right again onto the dirt road for 0.3 miles to the Surprise Creek Trailhead.

1 hour from Seattle. East I-90 for 54 miles. Take exit 54, Hyak, and turn left (north) under the freeway. Continue to the Gold Creek Pond parking lot.

3 hours from Seattle. South I-5 for 97.3 miles. Take exit 68 and turn left (east) on US-12 for 84.9 miles to White Pass. The Pacific Crest Trail-South trailhead is located just east of the White Pass Ski Resort on the south side of the highway.
