Merit Badge and Other Opportunities 

It's the beginning of another Scouting Year!  With it comes a list of great opportunities to consider. 

Some of these will be posted on our troop calendar, while others will need to be checked on later.

Many of these will require that you sign up early to reserve a spot.  Some may already be filled.  Some have not been posted yet and are first signed up, first served.

Monthly Lake Trails Territory Merit Badge Workshops

• Merit badge clinics are always the Saturday following the Lake Trails Territory roundtable (i.e., the Saturday after the 2nd Thursday of the month).

Seattle Territory Merit Badge Fair

• October 12, 2024

• Opening Flag at 7:45 am Two class sessions: 8am- 10am, and 10am-12pm

• Location: Farview Church 844 NE 78th St, Seattle, WA 98115

• Please bring Blue Cards if you have them.

• Snacks will be provided between the two class periods at 10 a.m. If you like, you may bring your own water bottle.

• Participate in a vote for the Spring Merit Badge Fair Theme! Let your voice be heard on what badges should be offered.

Mercer Island Merit Badge Fair

• Tentative: November 23, 2024

• Last year maybe 20 badges offered

• So far: Citizenship in the Community, Genealogy, Dentistry, and Metalworking

• Three 1.5 hour sessions into the afternoon. (so possibly three badges that day)
