Packing Lists

Packing lists vary depending on the type of outing and outing specifics.  Scouts should contact their patrol leader to determine what is needed for any specific outing.

What you need on any specific outing will vary.  We consider:

• Type of Outing

• Length of Outing (miles or days)

• Weather

• Terrain

• Who is going

  • Age

  • Experience level

  • Endurance level

  • Maturity

  • Medical issues

• Purpose of outing

Your Senior Patrol Leader or Scoutmaster may wish to modify what the troop/patrol needs to bring on an outing.  Ask your leadership before assuming what to pack.
