"Ho, ho, ho!" and "Chug, chug, chug!" This unique holiday tradition has been ongoing in Snoqualmie for 49 years. Beginning November 30, families can take a holiday train excursion aboard Santa Train to visit Santa Claus at the historic Snoqualmie Depot. Music, fresh-baked cookies from coal-fired ovens, hot cocoa and fresh coffee, and a small gift for each child.
The two-hour holiday celebration takes place Nov. 30-Dec. 1, Dec. 7-8, Dec. 14-15, and Dec. 20-21. Friday, December 20 is the Victorian Santa Train. Various times offered, check website for availability. $28.
