Looks like our team is ready to go!
Day one started with a trip to the Airport, a flight to Iceland and the beginning of our Saga. We picked up vehicles and headed to the Costco in Reykjavik gather supplies at Costco and Bónus (Icelandic grocery store). We were advised to get head nets for the Jamboree site and stopped off at the mall to get nets and camp fuel. It was then off to the Guesthouse and a hike to some incredible waterfalls.

First Stop - Costco to load up on food and hotdogs
All the drinks were sugar free - boo!
The only place open on Sunday was the Mall. We were lucky enough to find a shop that had bug nets and a store right next to that one with camping gas.
The camping gas were needed right away and the bug nets were are real luxury once we got to camp.

Lots of options to consider
The waterfall drops 60m (197ft) and is part of the Seljalands River that has its origin in the volcano glacier Eyjafjallajökull. We were able to walk here from our Guesthouse and walk behind the falls. This hike was about 3 miles long.
This is a short hike north from Seljalandsfoss and back towards our guesthouse.
