Going from Third Place Commons to Luke McRedmond Park and back is 25 miles. It's a nice and relatively protect trail. You can do this route twice to complete a 50-mile ride.
Going from Third Place Commons to the Totem Pole at Marymoor Park and back is about 27 miles. This makes for a fun turn around point, but isn't exactly 25 miles for those looking to do the minimum.

Hyak to Rattle Snake Lake to Scott's Dairy Freeze in North Bend.
This is a really fun route that takes you down an old railroad grade that was converted to a gravel trail. It is mostly downhill and once you get going, you just need to hang on. The final leg into North Bend is flat, but may be challenging after hanging on for the last 25 miles. You can end your trip at Scott's Dairy Freeze for great ice cream, shakes or a full out American lunch!
Leg 1 - 21.17 miles from the Hyak Parking lot, through the Snoqualmie Tunnel and down a slight grade to Rattle Snake Lake
You will NEED headlamps or a bike light for the tunnel (contact ranger to see if tunnel is open)
Leg 2 - 7.20 miles from Rattle Snake Lake to Two Rivers High School (former location) in North Bend
There is one "major road" crossing just past the I-90 underpass - don't forget to look both ways before crossing
Leg 3 - 0.30 miles from Two Rivers to Scott's Dairy Freeze
Total - 28.67 miles
Elevation gain - almost entirely a light downhill grade until we reach North Bend where it flattens out
It is possible to complete a 50-mile bike ride by going down Legs 1, shuttling back up to Hyak to repeat Leg 1 and then go on to complete Leg 2 and 3. This will require a support team to shuttle drivers.
Note:
Most of the trail isn't accessible by Road
If you start, plan to complete this trip
Make sure you have a real repair kit, extra tubes and water
Although anyone should be able to complete this trail - you must have a bike with regular sized tires
BMX sized tires don't spin the same and riding a bike with small tires will force that rider to peddle for much of the route while others are just coasting along and waiting for you to catch up
Most of the trail is gravel - skinny road tires are NOT recommended

Start at the Parking Lot at Third Place Commons and head east on the Burke Gillman. Continue on the Sammamish River Trail to Marymoor Park. Cross Marymoor Park and get on East Lake Sammamish Trail to I-90.
This is a relatively protected and more or less flat route. You will need to cross several roads along the way, but we are on a separate bike trail and don't need to share the road with cars. It's also near home (at least the start and end points are), making it easily accessible to our troop.
