In 2024, the Golf Merit Badge has been updated with the options of Traditional Golf and now Disc Golf.
The timing couldn't be any better, because these new changes took place at the same time that Lynnwood opened up their first ever Disc Golf Course at Gold Park!
Not that we need one, but this gives us a good excuse to go play disc golf.
See these resources for more:
We have a Disc Golf Course right in Lynnwood at Gold Park and in Mountlake Terrace at Terrace Creek Park "Candy Cane Park"
Other courses can be found at: pdga.com/course-directory

Terrace Creek Disc Golf Course is walking distance from St. Pius X.
The front 9 holes are moderate, while the back 9 are a bit more technical.
The back 9 is best played in winter after the leaves fall, allowing you to better find your discs.

Of interest, this course was put together as an Eagle Scout Project by a Scout from Troop 312. It's an example of how helping out the community can have long term benefits for all in the community.
