Troop 60 has friendly Scouts and Adult Leaders. We are open to working with other Troops and Scouts to:

Need a 50 Miler and your troop doesn't have enough resources or interest? - You can join us as long as you attend our train-up
Come talk to us. We are always looking for ways to improve the quality the Scouting Experience for all of our Scouts.
Note: Visiting Scouts from other units will need to fill out a Activity Consent Form and Approval by Parent or Legal Guardian when on a Troop 60 Outing.
Our Adult Leaders and many of our Scouts can easily teach or help with:
Advanced First-Aid and Wilderness Medicine
Wilderness Survival (to include advanced fire and knife skills)
Pioneering
Aquatics (Swimming and Lifesaving)
Canoe Safety
Swift Water Safety
Shooting Sports (Bow, BB, Rifle, Shotgun, Black Powder, Pistol)
Winter Skills (to include snow shelter construction)
Leadership (we are Wood Badge and NYLT trained)
Orienteering and Geocaching
Leave No Trace/Outdoor Ethics (LNT Trained and Certified)
Forestry
SCUBA
Training options include: In-Person, Virtual and of course - Hands-On Instruction and Learning.
We have Scouts and Adults with specials skills sets and certifications.
Need Leave No Trace training so that you can teach your Scouts Leave No Trace, we have certified Trainers
Need a Firearms class taught by a certified NRA instructor, we have those
Need Advanced Wilderness First Aid instruction, we have certified medical providers able to do that
Need Advanced Wilderness Survival Training, we have a Green Beret who can show you all sorts of skills
