Date: July 10 , 2024
For Day 4, we planned to mostly head back west to the Golden Circle for brief sightseeing there prior to Jamboree. Day 4 included:
Skaftafellsjökull Glacier 4-Mile Hike
Svartifoss - Magnúsarfoss - Hundafoss Waterfalls 3-Mile Hike vs Swimming in Vik
Consideration for Secret Lagoon if time allowed for this
Kerid Crater
Transportation to Villa for 2 nights of lodging in Golden Circle

We awoke to a gorgeous morning at Tjaldsvæðið í Skaftafelli. We discussed options and most were interested in a Glacier Hike. Another Waterfall Hike sounded great to half of the group, but the other half was maxed out on waterfalls and was more interested in swimming or shopping.
After packing up, we set out on the Glacier Walk and would revisit options afterwards.
The Glacier walk was a lot of fun and was different than the waterfall hikes we did over the last few days.

All these years of hunting for a Snipe, we finally found them
More ways to die in Iceland
After seeing so many waterfalls over the past few days, half of the group wanted to do something different. After doing a vote, we had exactly a carload that wanted to head to the pool. The rest would stay at the Tjaldsvæðið í Skaftafelli and visit the Hundafoss, Magnúsarfoss, and Svartifoss waterfalls.

Most of our Scouts went to Vik to have a Swim
The Kerid Crater was an easy stop on the way to Villa.
