With the new changes in the Golf Merit Badge, a few of our Scouts tried the Disc Golf option at Gold Park.
We tried out the new Disc Golf Course at Gold Park in Lynnwood. It is a nice park and reasonably maintained. Of interest, the Disc Golf Course was installed by the City of Lynnwood and Boy Scout Troop 312 for Braeden Swan's Eagle Scout project.
The first Tee starts at the west end of the parking lot and the 9/18th hole ends just south of the parking lot.
It is important to note that after you finish Hole 2, you will need to walk across the park to get to Hole 3. Tee Box 3 is located at the northeast corner of the park and there aren't any signs showing you how to get there. You will need to refer to the map the first time you do this course.
There are 2 separate Tee Boxes at each hole, allowing you to have 2 different experiences at each hole, making this 9 hole course an 18 hole course with unique Tees.
A Porta-Potty is available at the parking lot.

Of note, there were a handful of transient people in the park. It is advised that you have 2 adults on this and ALL other Scout Outings.
