Date: June 14-16, 2024
This weekend was scheduled for Spider Meadows, which apparently was still covered in Snow. We moved the hike to Packwood Lake, but lightning storms made this trip less than ideal. We changed it to Pete Lake with less than a week prior to the hike.
Our High Adventure Team did a pre-hike and pre-campout to get in some miles.
Since Pete Lake is in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness area, we split the Troop into 2 12-person groups and kept them separated by 1+ miles. One crew would camp at Pete Lake while the other would camp at Lemah Meadows.
